The Chappelle Area can be found to the very southwest of the Blackmud region and is one of the more recently established developments within this area. To the northeast of the community, a future station on the Heritage Valley LRT line is in the planning stages, and this will further open travel access to the Chappelle Area.The central location of this subdivision gives parents a choice for a number of regional schools. The Monsignor William Irwin School and the Monsignor Fee Otterson School are both nearby and well rated as facilities. Residents can also get to shopping and entertainment at the Currents at Windermere and Ellerslie Corners.
