    Kenilworth is one of the several larger subdivisions within the Bonnie Doon suburb, and is located to the southeast of this greater region. It is bordered by 90th Avenue to the north and abuts with industrial areas to the south. Kenilworth is still a largely residential community with businesses found primarily around these boundary roads.

    Homes for sale in Kenilworth are mostly single-family dwellings that are a result of the construction that occurred once Kenilworth was incorporated into Edmonton in the 1960s. While this is an established neighborhood, some of the structures are slightly newer than the surrounding areas, but the use of an open grid plan as well as trees and shrubs for boundary landscaping is still very common in the section.

    Kenilworth is very family friendly, with several parks, schools, and places for outdoor recreation. The Kenilworth Community League plays a large part in ensuring that pedestrian paths and municipal facilities are maintained, and also hosts a variety of community events to build integration and culture. These may include tournaments and skating competitions at the Kenilworth Arena, or game nights and luncheons at the community hall.

    Edmonton Public Schools serve the Kenilworth subdivision, but parents have several choices for public and private education. This includes the Waverly School and Ecole St. Jean d’Arc. While bus stops around the residential space can connect inhabitants with shopping at the Bonnie Doon Mall or in downtown Edmonton, businesses along the southern commercial and industrial section also have everything from groceries to casual dining at Newcastle Pub and Grill.
