    Description

    The Hudson community is located on the western edge of the Northwest Edmonton area with Cumberland Road as its northern border. This community is one of the newer residential developments and sits adjacent to both industrial and preserve lands. It is also in close proximity to several major thoroughfares, such as Mark Messier/St. Albert Trail, which lets drivers find an easy commute into the city.

    Public transportation is also good for the sector, with bus stops across the Hudson community and along the boundary roads.

    Residents will find the Hudson is a very family friendly area with several parks and good pedestrian paths. Nearby McArthur School served the development for educational needs, and parents also have the option of sending children to St. Angela Catholic School. The Londonderry Society for Child Development has early learning classes and day care programs to help working parents.

    Homes for sale in Hudson include single family dwellings on private lots and townhouses with good shared land. Many of the structures have been erected within the past decade, although the initial construction for the area began in the 1990’s. Hudson enjoys a very open street plan that uses cul-de-sacs along curved roads, and tracts of wooded space to create better seclusion and a more suburban feel.

    Residents will find that shopping and other amenities are close at hand. Businesses and stores in adjacent Pembina include home goods and clothing, as well as banking and postal services. Baranow also has a strong commercial presence and is found just to the east.
